Save A Life Today (S.A.L.T.): Knife Crime & First Aid Workshops

S.A.L.T. is an expert-led training initiative from Black Onyx Academy, designed to combat knife crime and save lives.

Operating from our HQ in Stoke-on-Trent, our team of qualified instructors delivers in-person, onsite training for community-led organisations, schools, academies, colleges and universities across England and Wales.

This one-day, certified course gives you and your colleagues the practical tools and equipment to identify potential risks, implement preventive strategies, and respond safely and effectively to knife-related incidents.

Alongside this, we are working with communities to collate insights and data from across the UK. This will help shape future prevention efforts and contribute to our community impact reports.

“There were 55,000+ offences involving a knife or sharp instrument in England and Wales in the year ending September 2024.”
