Why Training Matters

We are proud to support the rollout of new Public Access Bleed Control Kits from The Daniel Baird Foundation across Staffordshire, part of Staffordshire County Council’s commitment to safer public spaces and stronger community resilience.

These kits have the potential to save lives in the critical minutes before emergency services arrive. But installing lifesaving equipment is only part of the solution.

In a high-pressure emergency, a bleed control kit means very little if people lack the confidence and practical skills to use it. That’s where training makes the difference.

Skills That Save Lives

At Black Onyx Academy, we believe safer places are created by developing capable people. Drawing on decades of operational experience across military, security and emergency-response environments, our medical training programmes give participants the knowledge, confidence and practical skills needed to respond when every second counts.

Through realistic, hands-on instruction, we teach individuals how to:

Equipment Saves Lives. Trained People Save More.

Who It's For

The new Staffordshire initiative is a significant investment in public safety, but its true value is realised when communities are empowered to use these resources effectively.

If your organisation, school, workplace or community group wants to be ready to act, our training is for you. We work with:
